At Veliro Travels, we understand that travel plans may change unexpectedly. This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions applicable to cancellations, modifications, refunds, and travel service changes.

By confirming a booking with Veliro Travels, you agree to the cancellation terms outlined below. 

1. GENERAL CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or through our official communication channels.

The effective cancellation date will be the date on which the written cancellation request is received by Veliro Travels.

Refund eligibility depends on:

  • The date of cancellation
  • Services booked
  • Hotel cancellation policies
  • Transportation arrangements
  • Supplier terms and conditions

2. TOUR PACKAGE CANCELLATIONS

More Than 30 Days Before Arrival
  • Cancellation Fee: 10% of total booking value
  • Remaining balance will be refunded

15 – 30 Days Before Arrival
  • Cancellation Fee: 25% of total booking value
  • Remaining balance will be refunded

7 – 14 Days Before Arrival
  • Cancellation Fee: 50% of total booking value
  • Remaining balance will be refunded

Less Than 7 Days Before Arrival
  • Cancellation Fee: 100% of total booking value
  • No refund available

3. HOTEL RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS

Hotel cancellation policies vary depending on:

  • Hotel category
  • Seasonal demand
  • Promotional offers
  • Supplier conditions

Certain hotels may impose stricter cancellation policies, especially during:

  • Peak travel seasons
  • Public holidays
  • Festive periods

Hotel-specific cancellation conditions will be communicated at the time of booking. 

4. AIRPORT TRANSFER CANCELLATIONS

More Than 48 Hours Before Service
  • Full refund available

24 – 48 Hours Before Service
  • 50% cancellation charge may apply

Less Than 24 Hours Before Service
  • No refund available

5. TAILOR-MADE TOUR CANCELLATIONS

Customized itineraries often require advance reservations and supplier commitments.

Depending on services already confirmed, additional cancellation charges may apply for:

  • Luxury accommodations
  • Private transportation
  • Exclusive experiences
  • Special event arrangements

Cancellation fees will be calculated based on actual supplier charges. 

6. ACTIVITY & EXCURSION CANCELLATIONS

Activities including safaris, whale watching, diving, adventure sports, cultural experiences, and excursions may have separate cancellation policies.

Refund eligibility depends on the service provider’s terms and conditions.

Certain activities may be non-refundable after confirmation. 

7. NO-SHOW POLICY

If a traveler fails to arrive for a booked service without prior notice:

  • No refund will be issued.
  • The booking will be considered a “No Show.”
  • Full service charges may apply.

This applies to:

  • Hotel stays
  • Airport transfers
  • Guided tours
  • Activities and excursions

8. REFUND PROCESS

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.

Refund processing times may vary depending on:

  • Payment provider
  • Banking institution
  • Currency conversion procedures

7 – 21 Business Days 

9. BOOKING MODIFICATIONS

Where possible, Veliro Travels will assist with modifications to:

  • Travel dates
  • Accommodation selections
  • Tour itineraries
  • Transportation arrangements

Additional costs may apply depending on supplier policies and availability.

Modification requests are subject to approval and availability.

10. FORCE MAJEURE

Veliro Travels shall not be liable for cancellations, delays, or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Floods
  • Severe weather conditions
  • Pandemics
  • Government restrictions
  • Civil unrest
  • Airport closures
  • Transportation disruptions

In such situations, refunds and credits will depend on supplier policies and applicable regulations.

11. TRAVEL INSURANCE

We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering:

  • Trip Cancellation
  • Medical Emergencies
  • Travel Delays
  • Personal Accidents
  • Lost Baggage
  • Unforeseen Circumstances

Travel insurance may help recover costs that are otherwise non-refundable. 

12. SPECIAL PROMOTIONS & DISCOUNTED BOOKINGS

Special offers, discounted packages, promotional rates, and limited-time deals may have separate cancellation conditions.

Certain promotional bookings may be:

  • Non-refundable
  • Non-transferable
  • Subject to additional restrictions

Applicable conditions will be communicated before booking confirmation. 

13. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS

Veliro Travels acts as an intermediary between travelers and service providers including:

  • Hotels
  • Airlines
  • Transportation Providers
  • Activity Operators
  • Tour Guides

Cancellation charges imposed by third-party suppliers will be passed on to the traveler where applicable.
